Boys – A Conversation

Keegan!  Just stop it.  You are being glutless!

What does that even mean Eli???

It MEANS that you’re not being nice!  I just wanted to play with you.  Geesh…  It’s what brothers do!

Alright!  I’ll play with you but don’t tell me what to do!

Ok.  Let’s come over here and play.  I’ll be this guy.  You be that guy.  Let’s pretend that my guy is falling.  You have to yell for help!  You have to say…

I SAID… DON’T TELL ME WHAT TO DO!!!

OK…  Just do it your way then…  blah, blah, blah (he actually said that!)

Fine… I’ll do what you want me to.  Just this time.  Then you need to leave me alone!

Whatever Keegan.

About Brotherly Love

I am a mom, partner, teacher and a lover of life. I have two fabulous boys who define my life as I know it. One of my children has been diagnosed with a sensory processing disorder, Asperger's and anxiety disorder. I blog as much about him as I do about my life and the lives of my immediate family.

  1. Reminds me of yesterday when Miss D. was deliberately goading Miss M., and M. just lost it. She shouted, “Argh! You are NOT my sister anymore!”

I was in the study, chuckling. Ah, Miss M. If only it were that simple.
