Brotherly Love???

Little boys begging to go outside every waking moment equals little boys who are completely exhausted from running, playing, fresh air.

Exhausted little boys equal cranky little boys.

Cranky little boys equal fighting and pinching and hitting and kicking and teasing and yelling and did I mention fighting???

My honey is pretty sure we’re going to be on the Homeowner’s Association’s blacklist for yelling too much at our fighting children…  Look for a new clause in a contract near you.

Thank you mother nature for the beautiful sunlight and boys who are destined to be boys.

About Brotherly Love

I am a mom, partner, teacher and a lover of life. I have two fabulous boys who define my life as I know it. One of my children has been diagnosed with a sensory processing disorder, Asperger's and anxiety disorder. I blog as much about him as I do about my life and the lives of my immediate family.

  1. Wonder what the fine might be? $500 Monopoly money?

I’m so glad you had a good visit. That was a big deal, wasn’t it! I mean, traveling with little boys that far is always a big deal, but I hadn’t realized that it was such a big deal, family-wise. Good for you!

Not just boys. Yeesh… My girls have lost it too! Okay not so much with the physical fighting (4 years apart makes that a little different. It’s not a girl thing. My sister and I fought like cats and dogs. And still love each other.) but they are a little too tired.
Still, I’ll take the happy spring weather as long as we get it!

Sounds like Gracie would fit right in with your boys! She demands to go outside every second and when I say she has to wait then she gets really mad at me!

were you in my house yesterday? a half day plus a rainy day equaled a nightmare day for kids and mom. But you’re right – this is normal. This is being boys. Thank you for the reminder 🙂
