A New Perspective

We started our new schedule on Monday.

We had our new babysitter with the boys on Monday and Tuesday.

The boys ADORE her and were exhausted both nights!

They fell asleep early and slept in a little!

Eli had a great day at therapy on Tuesday and was actually a good helper during group!

Today Nana and Papa returned for their babysitting duties.

Nana had a smile on her face and a skip in her step.

She missed her boys and couldn’t wait to hear about their latest adventures.

She inquired about their new babysitter.

She asked if they had fun with her.

Eli melted her heart just a little when he said “not nearly as much fun as when you’re here Nana!”

Yes, he was totally sucking up!  But when you’re a Nana and you’ve had the month that she’s had with my boys – well let’s just say it was an earned sucking up!

And the boys were angels because they missed their Nana and Papa too!  Nana actually said that the boys were “delightful” today!

Summer has given us a new lease on life.

This summer is going to be FABULOUS!

About Brotherly Love

I am a mom, partner, teacher and a lover of life. I have two fabulous boys who define my life as I know it. One of my children has been diagnosed with a sensory processing disorder, Asperger's and anxiety disorder. I blog as much about him as I do about my life and the lives of my immediate family.
