All Tied Up

It happened.  It finally happened!

For months now we’ve been hearing that it could be done.  We’ve been hearing that it has been done.

We were told that it could only be done a certain way, with certain words said by a certain person.

We had multiple discussions that it HAD to be done.  The time was upon us.

Suddenly, on Saturday morning, independence took over.  It was time to leave and the words “I can do it myself” were cried out.

Eli tied his shoes by himself for the first time ever (in our house)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  He was so excited that he tied Keegan’s too!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then Keegan cried because he can’t tie his own shoes yet…..

About Brotherly Love

I am a mom, partner, teacher and a lover of life. I have two fabulous boys who define my life as I know it. One of my children has been diagnosed with a sensory processing disorder, Asperger's and anxiety disorder. I blog as much about him as I do about my life and the lives of my immediate family.
